E23 - 190hp 6 cylinder DOHC Engine
Compatible for the following models: 
M5/E28 ’88, M5/E34 ’89-’92, M5 Euro E28 ’85-’86
M6/E24 ’87-’89, M635csi Euro ’85-‘86

Essentially an MM Rally engine with 2 distinct changes for 15% less power at 20% less cost. 
1. Crome Moly steel H beam rods
2. The Sport M42 uses stock 7mm valves and the M44 uses 6mm valves with cone valve springs and strong retainers.
